OBSERVATION DECK VIDEO

Patrons of Fighterworld are welcome to use the Observation Deck attached to our main hangar building to view the day to day operations of Williamtown airfield.

The airfield is Australia's Premier fighter aircraft base and home to all of Australia's fighter aircraft squadrons.
Williamtown also hosts Newcastle's Civil Airport which services large areas of NSW with civilian flights to most destinations around Australia.

The video clip at right shows a brief sample of the daily duties of the resident squadrons.

Williamtown RAAF base also has training units that bring trainee aircrew up to the highest levels of operational readiness using both BAE Hawk and FA -18 fighter aircraft.
