Fighter World is the ideal venue for tour groups of all sizes. Ample parking and turning space ensures a stress free and low risk environment.
Fighter World Displays
The Fighter World displays are unique as they are a totally ‘hands on’ experience with over 15 aircraft from WWI vintage to the modern era in its collection. The exhibits are displayed in two large hangars. One of the great visitor experiences is the opportunity to sit in the cockpit of a Mirage fighter or Macchi jet trainer and imagine what it must be like to command one of these great machines.
Fighter World has disabled access and visitors to Fighter World can walk around, touch and peer into the cockpits of Mirage fighters, a Sabre, the Gloster Meteor and the first Vampire jet built in Australia. There is a Russian designed MiG-21 jet fighter, Hawker Hunter, WWII Spitfire and Messerschmitt replicas and much, much more.
Observation Deck with live audio feed
The Observation Deck located at the rear of the main hangar provides not only a great view of all the action but allows visitors the opportunity to listen to the live audio feed from Air Traffic Control. The area is large enough to accommodate tour groups of all sizes.
Exclusively for Tour Groups
In addition to the displays and observation deck, Fighter World is able to offer the following additional services exclusively for Tour Groups:
Morning Tea, Lunch or Afternoon Tea
On request the Fighter Beans Cafe is able to provide a delicious and refreshing morning tea, a comprehensive lunch or a good old fashioned afternoon tea in a comfortable air-conditioned tea room reserved exclusively for your tour group. It’s a great way to take a break before or after visiting the Fighter World complex.
